Scenes from Nature

Scenes from Nature was inspired by 32 acres of rugged beauty in West Virginia, where my friends have let my family and I camp and hike over the years. Their land includes a several-acre meadow of tall grasses with paths which my young children always loved exploring. Surrounding the meadow is a lush forest with huge, old growth trees and a stream. After following the stream over many waterfalls and turns, there is a beautiful rocky outcropping where one can see it open up into the great Cacapon River. These pieces are meant to represent different aspects of this beautiful and natural space.
