Danse Lente

Composed in 1885, Danse Lente portrays a somber tone that perfectly mirrors the winter of Upstate New York, my home since 2007. The use of capo on the first fret of Guitar 2 allows the piece to be played in the original key of F minor with ease. This guitar duet version is arranged for the Janus Duo, and can be heard on the duo’s album, Passages.
