El Noi de la Mare

The Catalonian Folk Song, El Noi de la Mare (The Mother’s Son) from northeastern Spain, is a traditional Christmas Carol arranged by Julie Goldberg. The great guitarist, Andrés Segovia would often perform Miguel Llobet’s arrangement as an encore, making El Noi de la Mare a favorite piece among guitarists. In this quartet arrangement the main melody is passed around and played by each  part in the quartet.
