Liebesleid

This lovely piece, Liebesleid (“love’s sorrow”) was written by violinist/composer Fritz Kreisler in 1910 and recorded by the composer in 1930.  Since then, it has been performed and recorded innumerable times for its timeless beauty!

As Director of the University of South Alabama Guitar Ensemble for many years I transcribed and performed this gem of a piece with differing guitar ensembles to great appreciation. ~ Owen Middleton
