Winter Sun

“Winter Sun” began as a very short and easy three part piece for my Guitar 1 high school classes. The students really enjoyed the folk/pop inspired melody and harmony, so I decided to rework it into a longer piece for four parts. This piece works really well for beginning/intermediate guitar ensembles as well as guitar quartets. I hope it can help your students develop their legato, harmonics, phrasing, playing in the upper register, and dynamics.
