Tom Torrisi is a classical guitarist based in Buffalo, NY whose playing has been described as “expressive and full of beautiful details around every corner.” He has a DMA from the Eastman School of Music where he studied under Dr. Nicholas Goluses. He is an active performer as a soloist and as a member of Janus Guitar Duo with guitarist Ken Luk and Duo Purla with violinist Shannon Reilly. As an advocate for both classical guitar music and contemporary classical music, Tom’s programs often feature a diverse selection from the past and the present and across the globe.
