Appalachian guitarist Isaac Brady is a soloist, chamber musician, arranger, and an educator. Isaac believes in preserving the music of diverse cultures and implementing them into his performing and teaching repertoire for his students.
In his collegiate and professional career, Isaac has performed in a range of ensembles including jazz combos, classical guitar ensembles, pit orchestras for musicals, wind ensembles and old-time bands.
Isaac completed his Bachelor of Music in instrumental performance from West Virginia University (2019) where he studied under Scott Elliott and Anthony Ambroso. He received his Masters of Music in instrumental performance from Shenandoah University (2021) where he studied under Julian Gray. Isaac is currently finishing his Doctorate of Musical Arts from Arizona State University studying under Dr. Martha Masters. His research focuses on kī hōʻalu (Hawaiian slack key guitar).
